Wilson's Indigobird - Vidua wilsoni Andrew Spencer 2014-12-17 Gambela, Dembidolo Road, Gambela Peoples (Ethiopia) (550 m) call -

natural vocalization; calls from a male bird that was heard to imitate Bar-breasted Firefinch (unfortunately not while I was recording it). There are a lot of other birds vocalizing in this cut, and the clearest calls from the Indigobird are at the end. This bird was part of a flock of 6-8 indigobirds, mostly males, that were perched in a large brush pile in dry savanna.
