The recording is trimmed by a few seconds from the original version, and a highpass filter is applied. After applying the filter, it was normalized to -3 dB in Ocenaudio. Fade-in and Fade-out effects were applied as well.

A female Gray Bushchat was calling in a feeble tone while perching on an exposed stick. A male was in the vicinity as well. The bird was foraging and eating while giving these calls. The habitat was suburban since the recording was done from our stay campus. There were numerous coniferous trees, primarily pine forests, covering the hilly area. The weather was partly cloudy with harsh sunlight. The temperature was between 15C to 25C.

This male was perched on an overhead cable above a field and calling. I used a parabolic mic to isolate it above some natural and manmade sounds. I normalised the audio to -0.3dB and made minor adjustments using EQ.
