male 8 m up on a cross branch, standing on the branch; with each song it flexed its neck and pushed its head forward on the first note, slightly flexing its shoulders, doing nothing the rest of the notes; not giving terminal notes on most songs though one after 3:14; female twice gave some whistle calls like at 3:48, and she flew down at 3:54 and went to where they are fed at times, and the male went silent, flew down with audible wingbeats after 3:54, and joined her; interval shortened at 4:16 for a few more whistles by the female, then, after 4:40 by both male and female; songs after 2:56 are a little louder as I got closer; some good calls after 5:30;

This bird was recorded calling from the midstory of a primary forest plot (reserve 3512) at the BDFFP. The bird had originally been on the forest floor before I flushed it, at which point I registered this recording (it then flushed again towards the end of this track). Aside from normalizing, the recording was unaltered. This recording is also archived at the Macaulay Library (ML219893791).
