A family group of 4 birds were seen calling to each other. The female was about 40 m away from the other 3. There was an immature bird with the 3 adults. In this clip one bird is calling and another answering from further away. They were foraging in short newly burnt grass on a flat hilltop overlooking the sea on a warm, calm winters morning.

Habitat was open woodland dominated by Leadwood, Jackal-berry , Marula , Knob-thorn and Bush-willow trees. 2 adult birds perched 2 metres from the ground on dead tree and were flexing the head and neck and closing their eyes when making the deep resonating booming sound we heard from more than 2km away

Two birds were calling to each other, one was further away on newly burned grasslands on a flat hillside overlooking the sea on a warm, calm morning in mid winter. These two birds were part of a family group of four, with one juvenile amongst them.

Pair calling from a cliff face in a gorge. They had been circling above the valley before landing and calling.
