Woke at ca 2245 hrs and heard this magic large size owl – despite sleepy I was not in doubt which species it was. Fumbled around in the dark tent and started recording from within the tent. The eagle owl called for 1h and 46min! But at some point, I must have fallen asleep again as after 52 min I started, rather unexpected began to snore! Therefore, I have removed all those short bursts of heavy breathing, but apart from that the recording is unaltered – though a small increase in volume has also been applied. There are some differences in spacing btw sound phrases e.g. 2min, 5min, 6min and 3 min.
