Discovery of the first continental breeding site of Hydrobates tethys, by Rodrigo Barros, Fabrice Schmitt, Felipe de Groote and Ivo Tejeda. Individuals can be heard actively vocalizing in th area. The presence of incubating adults is verified by an endoscopic camera. In addition, at least two chicks are heard. Hydrobates tethys is identified by a white rump more extended towards the tail and abdomen without white. Some individuals of Hydrobates hornbyi fly by in the same sector.
