calls from one of a pair of birds near its nest in wet tundra. While giving these calls the bird was repeatedly diving at us and circling around to dive again. Some wing whoosh can be heard at the closest approach, typically within a meter of the mic.

natural vocalizations; long calls from three birds as one of them flew in from the distance and interacted with a pair near a nest. All of these calls given while in the air, with all of the birds performing multiple 'v-glides' during the most intense portion of the calling. At the end of the cut the interloper and one of the birds flew off towards the territory boundary while the other came back to mobbing us. Habitat was wet tundra.

A large number of Pomarine Skuas were observed on the Wollongong Pelagic. This recording was of an individual flying around the boat when it was motoring back to shore in the afternoon. The bird circled the boat at between 3-6m and called occasionally, often when chum was thrown overboard which Wedge-tailed Shearwaters would dive for and the Skuas (including this bird) would subsequently try to steal from them.
