Bird gives chattering calls and flying around in acacia bushes with other birds present. I make recording and pause recording to walk 800 m further away to took down a mist net. Arriving at the net site area, I realized the honeyguide was following me - still giving its chattering calls. The bird was still in net area while taking net down, still giving chattering. was the bird trying me to lead to a bee hive? Observation submitted to www.honeyguiding.me website

Female honeyguide heard and seen trying to call us to a source of honey very high up in a tree on the edge of a forest in spring. It was getting frantic in this recording and calling very fast. Each time I moved away from it, it would do this frantic, fast call.
