Saw it west of me. Ran with full gear about 150 yards to a 30 yard shallow sandy point along the Chase river. A quiet oasis between the flow. Set up my gear and waited hopefully. Dipper appeared and landed on a log about 6 feet up and about 50 feet away. This is a video recording which I have. It was astounding in so many ways.
