Sitting in a cottonwood tree in the riparian area at the top of the canyon. The bunting is the higher of the two warbles and the Blue Grosbeak is lower. It was almost like they were dueting as they did this for over 10 minutes.

Probably the same bird recorded on 6/16 - same location. Better recorder this time, and the bird was off the bike path allowing for reduced noise floor. Singing from the top of a mesquite in a dry wash.
