The recording is trimmed by a few seconds from the original version, and a highpass filter is applied. After applying the filter, it was normalized to -3 dB in Ocenaudio. Fade-in and Fade-out effects were applied as well.

A Black-throated Thrush was recorded on the morning of November 29, '23. The bird was perched high on an empty conifer. The bird was calling naturally throughout and before the recording. The habitat consisted of a coniferous forest with dry grasses adjacent to a hillside. The weather was clear, and the temperature was below 15C.

'Pre-flight calls' from higher up Robinia tree. Looking around, preparing for departure, hops onto a bit more higher branch, calls again and flies off to roost. This is a tree next to the apple tree and a few other trees and shrubs where she resides during most of the day, and forages on fallen apples, worms and other invertebrates. Roosting site as yet unknown. Sunset was at 17:17.

Calling from apple tree. With a male and female Blackbird (T. merula) nearby. The female Blackbird took off just before this recording. At certain moment the male Blackbird calls and then takes off (0:16), the Black-throated Thrush calls a bit more and then follows the Blackbird. The last sequence in this recording (0:30) is the thrush taking off and flying away. To roost probably. Sunset was 17:01. Note the 'yeep' notes at the end.
