The sharp clicking sound is one bird, the knocking another. Towards the end of the clip there is a raspy sound which is a Karoo Prinia. This intrusive little meddler immediately flew in when the apalises started calling, and added its own voice to the medley. It eventually chased off the apalises. Presumably there is some competition for resources between these two co-occurring insectivorous passerines. bird-seen:yes playback-used:no
