Calls were separated by 1-2 min. A pair built a nest in the wooden pillar of a deck, in an area surrounded by secondary forest and degraded areas. The nesting activity was monitored using a camera trap and will be published in due course. Both pair members were very shy despite the exposed location of its nest. Jiovanny Rivadeneira, the owner of this small reserve, built a hide and monitored the nest activity too. High bird activity in the area.
