A few ''chip'' calls and a repeated plaintive whistle from one (or perhaps two) birds in short grassland.

This a combination of two calls, made one after the other. Bird was in partial wetland grassy area. Started with normal plaintive cry (I have slightly shortened the gap between the two calls), then switching over to call I have not heard before.

Two birds calling from a wire fence on the roadside in short grassland. One bird was doing the typical cat-like meeuw call and the other was doing a song which is often part of a duet between a pair. Recorded in late summer.
