One or possibly two birds some 80m uphill in dense undergrowth. ID unchallenged I think because of calls fitting well with known call types for this species. This also is a known site for the species.

ID uncertain and birds not seen. Believed to be at least 2 individuals, close to but at opposite side of road of a family party of Blue-winged Laughingthrushes, which were recorded and seen. (See XC508018.)

The here recorded birds were much closer than previously recorded Bhutan LT on same hill slope (see XC508017).

Cannot imagine that a third species of LT is involved here. My assignation to species mostly based on simnilarity in call structure (dryer rattle) between Bh and Bw.

Just outside of town in an open area of brush, a juvenile looking bird with no tail calling from the edge of a bramble bush. After seeing pictures some else managed to get of the same bird I can make out that this is a Bhutan Laughingthrush not a Chestnut-crowned.
