Flock (c 40 birds) calling from a dense ghaf tree; most individuals hidden from view. The species is a regular winter visitor at this location and these birds have arrived recently (in last week or two) and, most years, remain until late March. Recording is slightly distorted by breeze (and by a White-eared Bulbul calling in the foreground!)

A flock of 22 Hypocolius were feeding in some fine leaved small trees just inside the main gate to Green Island. Most flew off but this one stayed behind and I was able to get some recording of it
