Two types of calls in this recording. First is the alarm call of the Ground Woodpecker, followed 3/4 of the way through by the territorial call. The bird was perched on a branch of a shrub in Acacia scrubland. I suspect they may have had a nest nearby. The mate was in the vacinity.
