The area was surrounded by extensive wetlands, and the banks of the river were mostly wooded. Nicaraguan Grackle - Quiscalus nicaraguensis	Andrew Spencer	2014-02-25	Refugio mixto Caño Negro, Alajuela, Costa Rica, Alajuela (Costa Rica)	- various songs and a few calls, all apparently from a female-plumaged bird (the bird was seen vocalizing in the first cut). While not seen in the second two cuts, it appeared to be on-focus for where the bird hopped into a dense bush. There was a male individual nearby, though, so I can't say without absolute certainty that it wasn't the bird giving some of these sounds. Habitat was the edge of a pasture along the edge of the river, with scattered short but dense bushes and trees.	31908251 macaulaylibrary.org
