Calls similar to 'step call', but more level, and repeated at very close intervals. Some calls a constant piping. Appeared to be an adult male. In Acacia woodland near edge of open fields. Call slightly amplified and some wind removed, but very little editing involved.

Step call (presumed male?). Hoarse whistle (female?) also heard, but not recorded. Calling from woodland near water then caught a large caterpillar. Recording amplified a touch, with some noise removal of lower frequencies <1000 Hz.
