Two pairs disputing a boundary. Volume varies with various sounds here from piercing series of pure whistles, to croaks, sneezes, buzzy notes and whirring wings. Based on both vocalizations and appearance in the field, there is very little, if anything, that separates this bird from the eastern form suahelicus.
