Wattled Curassow - Crax globulosa Jacob Socolar 2013-07-26 Maynas, Loreto Region, Loreto (Peru) (110 m) song -

Restinga near Pistia-choked creek. Part of a longer series, delivered from high up in a fairly tall tree (probably at least 20 meters up). Unfortunately, the bird(s?) became silent as I attempted a closer approach.

I am unsure of whether this vocalization is properly classified as song or a call.

I upload this poor recording only because few recordings of this species are available on XC at present.
